About us

We provide a full range of domestic cleaning services to our clients across Hertfordshire and beyond. 

Mopping Mommas was created by our founder, Emma Clark 19 years ago. Aged just 16 and equipped with not much more than a bike, a bucket full of cleaning products and one hell of a can-do attitude, we have come an awfully long way since then! We are proud of where we came from, but today we are a full service professional cleaning company operating to the highest standards. We have a team of fantastic staff (know affectionately to us a our Mopping Mommas) that clean for many domestic homes around the greater Hertfordshire area. 

We are a very family orientated business and pride ourselves in providing a flexible working environment for our Mopping Mommas, allowing many of them who have small children to get back to work. Our teams work in pairs to give you the best possible cleaning times which means we can be efficient, in and out, with minimum disruption to your domestic routine. We always try and place the same two Mopping Mommas in your home every week at the same day and time, which allows us to learn exactly how you like your home to be attended. 

We undertake all types of domestic cleaning there is nothing we do not have experience in dealing with. All of the products and equipment we use are professional grade so you don’t need to provide anything! We simply do it all for you. 

Our parent company ECL PROCLEAN delivers commercial contracts, with the support of another professional organisation you can rely entirely on our high standards and professionalism.
